Roam North is a forward thinking independent tour operator very much grounded in Edinburgh’s past. We bring a fresh vibrancy to walking tours and a whole new meaning to history.
You’ll experience famous landmarks as well as hidden gems, delivered with local knowledge and brimming with humour, we don’t only aim to inform, rather entertain. Scotland is a country renowned for its character, its personality and its wit, and at Roam North we aim to convey that through our tours.
Established by Martin and Rory, two Edinburgh natives who take great pride in where they reside and wished to showcase not only Edinburgh’s beauty and historical relevance but also its charm and individuality.
Both founders have an extensive background in public relations working in the city’s Taxi industry.
That local knowledge and interactions with a world wide audience gave birth to the idea of a new tour operator with a difference.
